From emotional highs and lows to action-packed athletic contests, Central Michigan University's photojournalism students capture hundreds of memorable moments on campus and in the community throughout their careers.
Now the 16 seniors in CMU's photojournalism program will share those moments as part of a yearlong exhibition at the university.
The 2008 Senior Photojournalism Exhibition will kick off May 2 with a 7:30 to 9 p.m. reception on the fourth floor of Moore Hall, home to CMU's journalism department and the exhibit.
The photographers, all of whom will graduate May 3 or in December, are: Nicole Blankenship of Twin Lake, Melissa Cousineau of Clio, John Ehlke of Clarkston, Sophie Hays of Farmington, Nichole Kuhn of Buchanan, Jeff LaMonde of Traverse City, Nichole Lockman of Mount Pleasant, Mary McPhee of Battle Creek, Lucas Merrill of Muskegon, Leslie Moe of National City, Holly Parker of Howell, Jessica Scott of Grand Haven, Alex Stawinski of Rochester, Colleen Steinaway of Pinckney and Joshua Visnaw of Saginaw.
Admission to the reception is free and open to the public; refreshments will be served. The exhibition will remain on display through May 2009, when work by the next crop of seniors will be posted.
