Thomas Gehring
Thomas Gehring specializes in wildlife conservation and management. He focuses on developing and testing management strategies for wildlife species, and he studies predator-prey relationships and how to stop the negative impact on landowners and wildlife. His field-based research utilizes such tools as radio telemetry, geographic information and global positioning systems, and modeling. Specific studies have focused on wolf, bobcat, marten, and loon populations in Michigan and the Midwest.
